Bignor Park is the most amazing wedding venue, I couldn’t recommend it enough to anyone considering it for their big day! My husband and I got married here in August 2024 and it was the best day of our lives. We chose the venue mainly because of the beautiful setting and particularly the option to have our wedding breakfast outdoors (in a walled garden with a stretch canopy for rain/sun protection). We’d been to a wedding in Italy with a similar set up and couldn’t believe our luck at finding such a beautiful space for all fresco dining in the UK.
There are multiple areas for the different parts of the day, including a Greek Loggia (where we had our ceremony) and big lawn overlooking the stunning South Downs. You can tailor how you use them depending on what you’re after and what your numbers are. We got so many compliments from guests on how beautiful and unique it was as a wedding venue.
Another big selling point was Louise, the venue manager, who is just phenomenal as other reviews have said! From the moment we met her she instilled in us a great sense of confidence and we knew we were in good hands. She somehow manages to remember every detail that you discuss with her despite the fact that she must be juggling many couples at once! She made sure we had everything we needed at every step of the way, gave us tips on what other couples have done in the past, recommended suppliers and promptly answered every question we had. She was also there on the day and at our rehearsal the day before to make sure everything ran smoothly. She’s a real super star and made the whole experience a joy from start to finish.
To anyone considering Bignor Park for their wedding I say go for it!! We wish we could do it all over again!

We got married here in May 2024, we had the best day and the venue was incredible. The available space allowed for lots of different elements, we had the ceremony and cocktail on the loggia lawn, and we did the food in the stables. All of our guests commented on how wonderful the venue was, and it made for some of the best photos (including golden hour). The events co-ordinator that was part of the package was amazing and her hard work meant that the day went as planned, and it made the process way less stressful!

Me and my husband got married here in June this year and it’s taken us a while to compile all our thoughts and feelings about how amazing our experience was having our wedding at Bignor.
Louise. Where do we start? Louise is the wedding coordinator at Bignor and is the kindest, most organised and classy woman we know. It was a pleasure getting to know her throughout our journey from picking our venue to the big day; she will remain a friend for life. She was always available to answer strange and silly questions and provide expertise guidance and advice. She has such a great knowledge of trusted suppliers in the area and most importantly, she knows what WORKS. Not just with weddings, but at Bignor specifically. Having done over 150 weddings there, she knows her stuff.
On the months and days leading up to and throughout the big day itself, Louise was there for us. On the day, she was there to greet suppliers, ensure everything was perfect and that the day ran smoothly.
Bignor is just the most beautiful and unique venue. The gardens are spectacular and the views of the South Downs were perfect for a beautiful post-wedding drinks reception and lawn games.
The quadrangle is such a unique space for food, and part of the reason we fell in love with Bignor as a venue. Our guests commented on it being like dining at a French chateau!
The venue is licensed for civil ceremonies, so you can enjoy your whole day there. Bignor was the first and only venue we visited; we knew straight away it was the one for us.
Bignor is a dry hire venue, but if that’s your thing and you want to make your day unique to you as a couple, we cannot recommend it enough. With all of Louise’s guidance and support, we found that there are plenty of suppliers in the local area to make your day perfect, such as: furniture hire, caterers, mobile bars, entertainment, glamping companies… you name it!
All of our guests had a blast and many said it was one of their favourite weddings to date, so if you’re on the fence… schedule a visit with Louise and book it! You won’t regret it.
Thank you for helping us have the perfect day. Thank you Bignor & Louise!

Always a fantastic wedding experience at Bignor Park! I returned last year for Georgia and Dan's wedding on a beautiful day in September where they held their drinks reception on the lawns and the marquee was styled superbly. Louise and the team are great to work with, very accommodating and organised with great communication in the run up. With access to the stunning walled gardens and wider grounds there are lots of wonderful spots to take the couple away for a few photos. Look forward to shooting there again soon!

We married here on the 15th of July and could not have asked for a better experience from start to finish after booking 1 year prior.
As a venue, Bignor Park has a great variety of locations to provide different types of weddings (and in our case, protect you if weather is looking mixed!) Our guests were wowed by the setting within the grounds.
Louise has everything thought through and supported us through all of our decision-making. We could not have asked for a better wedding coordinator.
We wish we could do the whole day again. It was tremendous 😊

Visited on mid week national garden charity day on my birthday. Limited formal gardens spaces. But set in more expansive grounds. Pathways not always clear (orchard overgrown and kids tree play area a dead end). Limited flowers in bloom mid June too. Seating mostly in sunshine with limited shade opportunities, bearing in mind the demographic of visitors (senior and limited mobility) I would have expected better thought for their needs. Spent a pleasant couple of hours maximum. The best bit of the day were the friendly volunteers and the tea and cake which made my afternoon.

We visited Bignor Park in July 2022 as our first viewing at a wedding venue and after the visit, it was a very easy decision to select Bignor Park for our wedding in 2023 (without needing to visit any other venues!).
Louise was our main point of contact from our first enquiry right through to after our wedding and was absolutely amazing in supporting us to ensure we got the most out of the venue. Her communication, organisation, tips and advice made the day run so smoothly and she truly is so invested in couples who decide to have their wedding at Bignor Park.
The venue itself is so special and you can make it your own as you're given a blank canvas to tailor the day to your preferences and style. We were lucky enough to have clear blue skies on the day of our wedding and got to make the most of the beautiful gardens and views which our guests really enjoyed too.
Thank you to Louise and Bignor Park for making our wedding day so seamless - we truly recommend Bignor Park as a wedding venue or at least to visit!

I don't even know where to begin with depicting how incredible of a place Bignor Park is. From the first moment when we originally viewed it, on a cold, wet and very grey day - we knew it was something special. The fact it could still look utterly beautiful in those conditions, meant that come our actual wedding day in the gorgeous sunshine, it looked like a dream.
So many of our guests (in fact nearly all!) commented on what a wonderful venue it was. It offers the very best of the English countryside, with stunning views, and amazing backdrops. The venue has unusual and creative spaces throughout - so we were able to achieve our dream of 'al fresco' dining in the UK, whilst still having a covering which made it weather-proof.
And of course, the most important aspect of the venue - the amazing Louise who was just such a massive part of our day. Louise's organisation is second to none - she helps make sure that your plans are on track, and we didn't find planning stressful once due to Louise's helpful nudges. It's safe to assume that Louise has thought of everything, and experienced all eventualities. Herself and her lovely daughter Ottilie were there on the day to make sure everything ran smoothly. It was a totally seamless day and genuinely nothing went wrong thanks to the both of them.
Bignor Park is one of the most special places to me, we will definitely be back - and can only hope that we'll be lucky enough to attend a wedding there in the future to experience the magic again.

We had our wedding at Bignor Park on 17/07/2021 and it was absolutely phenomenal. Right from our first enquiry Louise was welcoming and extremely helpful in working out what we needed and listening to our ideas to help create the perfect day. Bignor Park is an utterly beautiful venue with a huge range of options for your day. we decided to go for a marquee in the courtyard which was more than enough space for our wedding of around 105 people. I would highly recommend this wedding venue to anyone
